Framing Terrorism Survivors
This study analyzed how African, American, and British online mainstream news sources visually represent Boko Haram survivors. Drawing from agenda-setting and cultural dimensions frameworks, the study identified major differences in survivors’ gender, emotional expressions, and personally identifiable information across all three online news platforms.

Several existing studies have examined the feminist rhetorical strategies Michelle Obama used in her public addresses; however, there are no current studies that examine the rhetorical strategies she employed while communicating about the 2014 terrorist abduction of the Nigerian Chibok schoolgirls by Boko Haram.
